On the weekend of Nov 21st I rode from Los Angeles up to Foxen Vineyard in Santa Maria CA to take a tour of their facilities and see how they are incorporating new technologies into the old profession of wine making. Their amazing Club Manager Allyson took time out of her busy day to talk to us and let us drink some wine. I bribed my wife into coming along but she chose to ride with the crew. Don't just go "If you get the chance.", make some time and support an absolutely fantastic group of people and enjoy some truly wonderful wine.
Smell The Roses
The goal is to make a series of documentaries about me riding my bicycle across the United States of America conducting interviews with B Corporations, DIYers, environmentalists, sustainable living experts, natural farmers, and others to show where business, technology, nature, and culture meet and move us forward.
The main objective is to find some of this country’s unknown national treasures (culture, architecture, and nature), to experience as many new things as possible, and to meet many new people that are shaping their communities and this country into what they want and need right now and interview them about how and why they do what they do.
